This a paint of the Via Appia I did here in Rome. The Via Appia was the most impressive road in history. It stretched for up to 210 miles in total, starting in Rome and finishing in Napels.

This is a small painting I done of Heracles The Archer after a sculpter called Emile Antoine Bourdelle who was an asistant the Rodin.

This is my beautiful girlfriend, Natalie. She is from San Diego but lives here in Rome with me. I hope this is 1 of many paintings I will be doing of her. I found this beautiful image of her and I couldnt help but paint it in my way and style. Click here to check it out!

This was the first time I decided to use my canvas as a paint palette to experiment which colours and images would arise. At the bottom of the canvas I started to notice what looked to be in the shape of a mountain.

I rearranged the image and the mountain became a volcano. Living here in Italy I was lucky enough to visit Pompeii. The image of the man in this painting was taken from a plaster cast of one of the figures that died in 79AD. If you click here you will see where my inspiration came from!

One of my favourite post impressionist painters. Vincent Van Gogh(1853-1890) lived a very short life, dying at the age of 37. Even though he is considered one of the most important painters of the modern era his painting career only lasted 9 years.

I based this image roughly on a painting done by the artist Toulouse Lautrec whic you can see here and the back ground roughly on Van Goghs painting of the Potato Eaters which you can see here.

A great friend of mine requested I do a painting of one of his heroes, Diego Maradona. It was a major challenge as it was one of my biggest paintings to date. This painting is exactly 2 years old as I started it in Autumn 2009.

Based on Rodins most famous piece, The Thinker. The statue was first cast in 1902 and is now in the Musee Rodin in Paris; there are some twenty other original castings as well as various other versions, studies, and posthumous castings. It depicts a man in sober meditation battling with a powerful internal struggle.

Rodin did a very famous statue called the Age Of Bronze in 1877. Here is the head of the statue painted in my style in 2010.
